The Nature album contains a wide category of subjects. There are additional breakdowns of nature photography such as landscapes, plants, flowers, animals, and much more. The nature gallery featured here is a combination of all of the nature categories. Nature is one of my favorite topics. Nature is something I enjoy most of all. There is nothing quite as refreshing as breathing the air from atop a mountain, or the pleasant sounds of birds and insects. The beauty of fall, the waves of the ocean, the color of flowers, and the majesty of animals all speak to the human soul, if we only take a small moment to notice.

I enjoy a lot of outdoor activities, and I always have my camera on hand. These two facts make nature one of my largest photographic subjects, in regards to quantity of photographs. So, be prepared to see a lot of nature photographs. Take your time, and enjoy.

Besides the delicate beauty of the flower, you can see the thorns. The name Crown of Thorns comes from the belief that these thorns were used as the crown that Jesus wore for his execution. In any case, the flowers certainly do not know anything about the trials of man, the just continue in their own silent beauty. The tree was used by the Maya to shade the main plaza at Tikal. This Ceiba is very tall, and very large. The branches of the tree are covered with epiphytes. Here and there you can see the roots of an orchid. In this version, I added an infrared filter to get a similar effect to infrared photography. The effect made the reds of the epiphytes turn white. Creating an otherwordly feel to the photograph. The Cojones tree. All of the fruit grows in pairs of two. So, if you know Spanish, then you understand the reason behind the name. If you do not know Spanish, you may be able to guess what the word means. The name comes from what the fruit resembles. The latin name for this tree is Stemmadenia Donnel Smitii. For those of you still guessing, balls would be the friendly name. Yes, if you didn't guess, these are named after male genetals. The first view of Half Dome on the loop around Yosemite Valley. There were many flowers and plants seen in the resort's tropical gardens. The Baths form a large area where these massive boulders seemingly came out of nowhere. Nobody knows how or why these misplaced boulders made it to the islands although many speculate they are left over from a long lost volcano. These white Crown of Thorns are yet another specimen of the flowers and plants seen in the resort's tropical gardens. The latin name for this plant is: Euphorbia Milii .The shot was not that easy to take. Finding love birds in a jungle is hard.
